Tyler: The Jaycees are proud to bring you the annual Christmas parade in downtown Tyler!? Thursday, November 29 at 6:00 p.m.?Just as last year, the parade begins at the intersection of Broadway and Bow and will work its way south to the square.? Street closure will begin at 4:30, so get there early! Tylerjaycees.org.
Tyler: New this year is 'Twas the Lights Before Christmas! The East Texas State Fair's grounds will be transformed into a nighttime holiday wonderland of wintry surprises and all things Christmas!? The holiday spirit will fill guests' senses with seasonal sights, sounds, and of course, FLAVORS...YUM!!!? Bring your family and start a new tradition.This walk through light show will be open December 7-9 and December 13-16 and the cost is only $5 per person!!
Lindale: Let's celebrate old fashion winter comfort, community, and beauty. It?s time to pull out those beautiful heirloom handmade quilts that your mother, grandmother, sister, or friend made and share your treasures with your community. This December 6th through December 15th, we are paying homage to the past, passion, and sewing skill of our community and we invite you to loan your quilt and its story to our ?Quilted Christmas Exhibit?. The Quilted Christmas Exhibit will come to a final finally December 15th with an old fashion Christmas festival including: quilting demonstrations by Lindale?s own Quilting Bees, Musical performances by The Vanderveer Brothers, a Texas 42 Domino Tournament, a holly jolly sack race, refreshments, and much more.To place your quilt(s) on loan please bring your quilt and the story of its history to Lindale City Hall. Quilts will be available for return following the closing of the Quilted Christmas Exhibit December 15th. December 6 - Christmas parade at 6:30 p.m. December 7-8 & 14-15: Family activities from 6-8:30 p.m. such as 2 snow hills, Christmas movies on courthouse lawn, visits with Santa, Mrs. Claus and elves, North Pole letter drop, musical entertainment, train and wagon rides, and arts & crafts. White Oak: Christmas parade November 29 at 6:00 p.m.
Crockett: The Shoji Tabuchi Christmas Show.? The world-famous Shoji Tabuchi along with his beautiful wife Dorothy and delightful daughter Christina will perform his spectacular Christmas show at the Crockett Civic Center, 7:30pm on Friday December 14.Tickets for this event start at $32 and are available at the Piney Woods Fine Arts Association office, located at 603 E. Palestine: The City of Palestine will host its annual lighted Christmas Parade Dec. 1 @ 7 p.m. Parade begins at the County Courthouse and will make a loop through downtown before ending at the courthouse. Festivities will include a DJ, an announcement of parade winners and Home Decoration Contest winners, bounce houses, and fun and games for the family. Santa will be greeting children in the courthouse rotunda, bring your camera and snap a pic of Santa and your child. Athens: The annual lighted Christmas Parade, sponsored by the City of Athens, will take place at 6:30 p.m. on December 1st.
Pittsburg: The KCS Holiday Express Train will be coming to town on November 26, 2012 at 4:00pm and will be available to visit and take pictures until 6:00pm. The train will stop on South Texas Street next to the Pilgrims Pride Office. This will be an exciting time for our community and hope everyone of all ages comes out to enjoy this Holiday train. The Parade will be on Thursday, Dec. 6th at 6:30 p.m.? The theme is ?Christmas Wonderland of Lights?.? Before the Parade the Kiwanis will host a Pancake Supper.? So come to town eat pancakes and enjoy a lighted Christmas parade.A group of businesses have decided to host a Christmas Tree park down town. Kilgore:??Rangerette Christmas show ?Kicking off Christmas? will be Dec. 2 - The Rangerettes will host a special Christmas show on Sunday, Dec. 2, in Dodson Auditorium.The one-day-only show, ?The Rangerette Christmas Extravaganza: Kicking off Christmas,? will feature the world-famous Rangerettes and several local dance groups. Two shows will be held at 2 and 5 p.m. All seating is general admission.?Tickets are $10 and will be on sale at the Rangerette Box Office 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, Nov. 28 through Nov. 30.Remaining tickets will be sold at the door 45 minutes prior to each show. The box office is located on the first floor of the Rangerette Gym on the Kilgore campus.
