
This is competition at work: earlier this week, Google announced that it would reduce the price of its standard Google Cloud Storage by just a bit over 20%. Then, Amazon announced yesterday that it would reduce the price of its S3 cloud storage service by about 25% across the board. Today, in a somewhat surprising move, Google announced that it would reduce the price of Cloud Storage by yet another 10%, resulting in a total price reduction of over 30% once you include the earlier cut.
