Free health checks offered at easyGym Birmingham!

It is?a life-changing decision to join a gym, and we believe in supporting you every step of the way. A health check is a great way to start your new healthy lifestyle, as it is designed to tell you everything you need to know about your personal health & fitness levels, and to ensure you are ready to take up a new exercise regime.
We offer 6 different health checks with our friendly and?qualified staff, but you don?t have to have them all if you don?t want to,?just pick & choose the ones that appeal.

?

What is included in a health check?

1.Body mass Index ? BMI is a measure of whether you?re a healthy weight for your height.

2.Peak flow ? a measure of how well the lungs are functioning

3. Blood pressure ? high blood pressure is actually more common than you may think, which is why it is important to get checked.?It often presents no symptoms, but raises the risk of serious health problems, such as heart disease and stroke.

4.Body fat percentage ? your body fat percentage is simply the percentage?of fat your body contains. Knowing your body fat percentage can help determine if your weight loss goals are realistic

5.Resting heart rate ? a good determination of how fit you currently are. The more conditioned your body is, the less effort it needs to make to pump blood through your body.

6.Measurements ? we can record your weight and any measurements, such as your waist, and help you to set weight loss goals.
